MATERIALS
Paper
We stock a large range of high quality and cost effective self adhesive vellums with both gloss and matt finishes. We also stock special materials such as day-glo colours and thermosensitive material for overprinting.
Polypropylene
Our digital printing system coupled with a special material ‘Sensitising’ process alows us to print on a range of high quality Polypropylene plastics. Available in matt and gloss finishes as well as clear material ideal for windows stickers or bottle labels.
Adhesive
For most standard applications Pemanent adhesive is most suitable however we also stock material with the following adhesives.
Blockout (Opaque)
Black adhesive, stops pre-printed surfaces showing through.
Extra Permanent
Permanent adhesive for more difficult surfaces.
Removable
Easily removed from surfaces not to be damaged. (Book covers and CD cases)
Frost Fix
Can be applied to pre-frozen products.
Deep Freeze
Apply to dry products before freezing.
DESIGN
We can design your label for you or you can supply your own artwork.
Guidelines for Supplying Artwork
Bleed
Include 3mm bleed around the label.
Important text and design elements
Keep at least 2mm from the edge of the label.
File Formats
Adobe illustrator.ai /.eps
- Fonts should be outlined
- Images must be embedded
- Images should be 300ppi at the finished print size
- Colour space should be CMYK
PDF
- Saved as 300ppi max quality if there are raster elements
- Fonts should be embedded
- Colour space should be CMYK
Adobe InDesign
- Fonts should be outlined
- Images must be embedded
- Images should be 300ppi at the finished print size
- Colour space should be CMYK
TIFF
- Saved as 300ppi at the finished print size.
- Colour space should be CMYK
- Not suitable for spot colour labels
